The Friday Book Club

The Friday Book Club meets on the last Friday of the month to discuss a wide variety of writing.In December, the Book Club will not meet due to the holidays.

Baby Group

The play group meets every Wednesday 10:00-12:00 in the Ukrainian Embassy, Boryana Street 29. When the weather is fine we go into the garden. There is a charge of 3 leva a visit to cover expenses. If you would like to join please call Arianne Trossel on 86 88 748 or 0899 25 82 19.

Bridge

Patchwork Group

The Patchwork Group  meets at Dusica Trkulja’s home - Blvd. Dondukov 62A every Tuesday morning from 10:00 am (except the first Tuesday of the month). Please call Dusica at 944 36 23 for more information.

Latino Dancing

Our member Valia Batista organizes a Latino Dance Class. The classes will be given by an excellent dancer named Rosi, in the club Salsa con Miguel, located in the Center not far from Ruski Pametnik on Ul. 20 April 13. This is a special offer to the members of the IWC, and the group will be only IWC Ladies  (so fun is guaranteed!!).Classes will be on Tuesday, at 10:30 am. The price is 8 leva per person per lesson (one hour). We ask you however, to pay for a month (32 leva). If you are interested, please contact Valia at 0898 344 644.

Tennis Club

Members who are interested in joining us to play tennis are welcome!! At this moment we need new players!! Visitor players are also welcome for 15 Lv for the two hours. We play in the sport club DEMAG in Mladost. Every Wednesday from 11:00 - 13:00 am. For information call Sandra 9670536 or 0888958512.

Charity Group

The group meets once a month and discusses new proposals for Charity Projects and the progress of ongoing Projects as well as the follow up of the financial balance sheet. Part of the follow up is the frequent visits to the Projects. If you want to make a difference and contribute something, however small, join the group! Look for the date and place of the next meeting in the Charity News section of the Newsletter.

Newcomers Coffee Morning

Normally this is arranged a few days after the Monthly Morning Coffee, whenever there are Newcomers. The Newcomers Coffee Morning is usually held at a members’ home. As there are fewer ladies attending this coffee morning than the monthly one, and as they are all newcomers, this is a good way of getting to know ladies better and have a chat with them. Conversation Groups

English: This group meets most Thursdays at 10.30am in different people’s homes. However, the group is momentarily waiting for a new teacher.
